About Me

Cat sitter in the Deans/Telscombe/Peacehaven area.

I am a professional musician living in Saltdean and have grown up with cats in the family. I adore them and their often quirky behaviour.

As well as growing up with cats, I lived in my previous place for 3 years in a 2-person flatshare with cats, often having sole caring responsibility. I hope to have a fur baby or few in the future but for now I will settle for fury clients!

I play music for a living, so I try and keep on top of the availability calendar. Sometimes I'm less available in the evenings, particularly towards the weekend, but even if I'm booked for 2 visits I can almost always fit in one morning, and one early afternoon visit at the very least.

I’ve been a cat sitter since 2016 and had a lot of clients in South London before relocating to Sussex. It's a really enjoyable job but I don't take it lightly, it is a huge responsibility to take on.

If your cat likes longer visits, I'll definitely stay as long as I can on a visit to keep them company. This site advises me to spend 20+ minutes each visit, which I adhere to as an absolute minimum, but I like to, and try to spend more time hanging out with them whenever possible.

You’ll receive updates including photos of your cat(s) from every visit, so you can be reassured they are being well looked after.

I can visit once, or twice a day, depending on how you want to organise your cat's feeding regime, and the amount of interaction they like.

I have a small amount of experience with administering medication (no injection experience yet). If it’s straightforward enough for you to demonstrate, I’m happy to do it.

If you would be interested in booking me, please send me an enquiry via this website. I'll aim to get back to you ASAP about availability and if free, arrange a home visit to your address to meet your cats and you can show me where you keep their food, litter, toys etc.

Whilst on a sitting I'm also happy to take on other tasks such as watering plants, please just ask.

    Joe is a lovely person and when he popped over to meet me and my foster cat, he put me at ease. He is knowledgeable about cats which I found re-assuring as I have one foster nursing mum with four kittens. Joe sent me daily photos and videos. Will call on Joe again, when in need of a cat-sitter.

    If I could give Joe 10 stars, I would! We didn’t meet as I had to work away and left the keys with concierge, but the communication was great. He was very thoughtful and caring, a real “Cat Whisperer”. My cats were so happy when I came back, throughout his cat sitting he sent me photos and videos to keep me posted. I will definitely book with Joe again in the future. Thanks Joe!
