Loving and Reliable Pet Sitter

Hello! My name is Miu and I’ve been caring for animals—especially cats—for over 10 years. Back in Hong Kong, I had two beloved senior cats who have sadly passed away due to old age. One of them, Bobo, lived with chronic kidney disease for four years. During that time, I took care of his daily medication, nutritional supplements, and gave him subcutaneous fluid injections—so I’m very familiar with special medical needs.

A few years ago, my family and I moved to Glasgow. Since then, I haven’t adopted a new cat yet, but I’m currently caring for a hamster (my second one!) and a tank of tropical fish. I’ve also looked after axolotls in the past, so I’m happy and comfortable looking after reptiles or amphibians too.

I live in Cambuslang with my husband, my daughter who’s in S2, and my son who’s in P6. I’ve been working as a part-time Home Carer for the council for the past two years, which has strengthened my sense of responsibility and care for others—both people and pets.

When looking after your pet, I’m happy to help with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, refreshing water, brushing their fur, and spending quality time playing with them—especially for cats who enjoy a bit of interaction and stimulation.

While you’re away, I can also help with small tasks like watering indoor plants, collecting mail, or receiving parcels. To help give you peace of mind, I’ll always send a quick message when I arrive and leave, and if you like, I can also send you photos or short videos of your pet so you know they’re happy and doing well.

Every pet is unique, so if your furry (or scaly!) friend has any special needs, just let me know. I also offer a free pre-visit to get to know you and your pet a little better before the actual booking.
