Peace of mind, everything’s taken care of :-)

Hi I’m Lorraine and I’m based in Carshalton. I’ve had cats and a dog growing up but not my own as yet due to working constraints. Though luckily, I found the next best thing! I become a fosterer with Croydon Animal Sanctuary in 2022. My friend had adopted 4 cats through CAS over the years and told me that they were in desperate need of fosterers. I made an initial enquiry and as they say the rest is history.

I fell in love with my first 2 foster kittens Tango and Cash! They were found on a roundabout in a box with their mum. Through fostering I’ve seen the growth and progress from almost feral, terrified kittens to relaxed, warm, trusting beautiful souls and find it hugely rewarding. To give patience, love, care and go at their pace, reaps huge rewards. I’ve always looked after friends and neighbours pets, cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits and fish.

My working life has been in education and local government. I’ve just taken on a role that means I’m working from home and have some flexibility. I’d love to build some trusted relationships through this service and look forward to talking to you soon.
