Cat care services in Edinburgh and surrounding areas

Hi I’m Amie, I have grown up with cats almost my whole life and have the pleasure of having my two feline companions Loki and Chiaki by my side. I have experience looking after both my own and other’s cats ranging from very friendly to those who are a lot more nervous and need someone calm and steady. I am also able to administer medications and look after cats who may have more complex needs with experience from being the primary caregiver of our family cat Milo who had to have medication daily and lots of other additional care. I am a stay at home mum right now so I am available more often than not and can spend a bit of extra undisturbed time with your furbabies on top of making sure they are well looked after. I am also registered with disclosure Scotland as a registered early years practitioner so have record of a clean background.

I am quite confident travelling throughout and around Edinburgh so I am happy to cover all of Edinburgh. When having me as your cat sitter I would love to get to know a bit more about your cats and their likes and dislikes as I can appreciate that some cats prefer their space and others do not know what that is! I will make sure that your cat has plenty fresh water, dry food topped up if applicable and fed their normal meals as well as a clean litter tray. Your cat will also receive lots of love and affection as well as some play time and treats when appropriate and if there are any other tid bits you’d like done like watering the plants I would be happy to make sure they are seen to. As previously mentioned I do have experience with cats who may need a little extra care in the form of medication or extra sensitivity, this is something I am well versed in after caring for our family cat Milo who had a major lifestyle change after being in an accident.
