I regularly care for cats and have always had cats growing up, so I am used to all aspects of caring for them and familiar with their behaviour and body language.

Cats have always been my favorite teachers. Their curiosity, independence, and quirky habits remind me to find joy in life’s small moments—whether it’s a sunbeam on the floor or the crinkle of a treat bag. I’ve learned to speak their language: the slow blink of trust, the head bump of affection, and the art of not disturbing a midday nap (no matter how cute they look).

My own cat Wonton is a mischievous boy. Wonton once figured out how to open the treat drawer, dragged the entire bag to my bed, and “shared” it with me at 3 a.m. (I woke up to crumbs everywhere and zero regrets on his face). He’s taught me the importance of playtime, puzzle feeders, and keeping cabinets securely locked!

Then there’s Pizza, my parents’ shy but sweet senior cat. When Pizza first arrived, he hid under the couch for days. But with slow blinks, gentle chats, and strategic tuna bribes, he transformed into the clingiest lap cat you’ll ever meet. Caring for him showed me how to respect a cat’s boundaries and build trust at their own pace.

Having cared for Pizza's arthritis, I’m comfortable administering medications, including pills, liquids, or topical treatments. Rest assured, I double-check locks, cat flaps, and treat stashes.

Daily updates include photos, quirky anecdotes and a detailed check-in log. You’ll receive daily updates with photos and a brief note (e.g., “Spent the morning birdwatching with Marmite – he’s now napping in his fort of cushions”).
