Experienced cat sitter in Bedford

Alongside a lifetime of owning cats, I volunteered for an East London cat rescue charity from 2018-2020, and cared for a huge variety of cats, both as a cat-sitter and a fosterer. I am very comfortable with shy cats, and love getting to know them at their pace. As a fosterer, I have also cared for several poorly cats that required regular medication and regular vet visits.

I live near Bedford Park and work two days from home, often with my own very fluffy cat Gizmo on my lap! I know first hand the anxiety of leaving your cat, be it overnight or for a longer holiday, and know how important it is to know that someone is spending quality time with them and ensuring they aren't lonely, and that their environment is calm, clean and reassuring.

As a cat sitter, I give the care I would expect my own cat to receive on a visit. Feeding, refreshing water bowls, a proper period of active play, cuddle time, any tablet medication required, daily litter tray checks, in addition to any plant watering and curtain opening/closing you might wish!

I am also happy to arrange a free Meet & Greet to get to know you and your cat.

I believe it is hugely important to respond to the needs of the cat, and approach them as they want to be approached.

I provide photo and/or video updates on every visit so you know how they are getting on.

I also appreciate how strange it can be to have a stranger in your home, and am completely respectful of your personal space, staying out of any rooms not relevant to the cat-sitting.
