Cat Sitting Service in Manchester, Trafford & Salford

Hi there, I'm Madeleine :) I am a freelance Sound Engineer in television and theatre. I have a flexible working pattern and have the advantage of being available on some weekdays.

I am a big cat lover and though I haven’t yet had the opportunity to have cats of my own (mainly due to being a renter), I am very experienced with cats.

I regularly catsit my brother's cat Freya (my "cat niece" as I call her) and have stayed overnight at his house tending to Freya's needs from when she was a kitten.

I have several friends with cats and I am often their first choice of catsitter when they go away as they know how much I love them! I’ve looked after a calico called Marmalade, twin black cats Pancake and Lemon and grey tabby Juno.

I also once lived in a large house with three cats belonging to my housemate. I bonded with all three of them and got to know their unique needs and personalities. At this house, there was also a small herd of stray cats that often appeared in the garden. I instinctively got into the habit of feeding them, some of whom were not socialised with humans at all and was respectful of this and made sure to keep my distance.

Each cat's needs are different and I enjoy taking the time to understand them and befriend them. I'm more than happy to meet you and your cat in advance to make sure they get the right care.

In my spare time I enjoy music, baking, films, jigsaw puzzles and seeing friends.
