Cat sitting Bristol

Hi, I’m Ella, a recent creative writing graduate from UOG :) Growing up in Bristol, i’ve been surrounded by cats all my life, my very first being the next door neighbours Siamese, Spike, who I would wait outside for until he woke up from his afternoon nap. Five years ago, I volunteered for the Moggery for over a year, where I worked with cats that had a variety of needs, some of which were feral and undergoing domestication. Since then, I have been catsitting in the Redland area, including both day and overnight care. I adore cats, and love spending time with them regardless of their nature. I appreciate that whilst many are cuddle-monsters, some prefer to be adored from afar, preferring the refill of their food bowl to a tickle behind the ears. Whatever the cat’s nature, I will always do my absolute best to give them the attention and love that they deserve.

I’m happy to offer both day and overnight visits from Monday-Sunday, as I work from home and can schedule around this. I’m happy to come in for brief visits if your cat prefers to be fed and then left to neighbourhood watch, or for longer stays to cuddle and play with them. I will also always keep a note of your cat’s diet requirements when it comes to treats (dreamies!) and medication. I have looked after several cats who have required oral medicine, either in the form of a pill or a prescription gum-gel. I also have a soft spot for elderly, slower cats, who are more than happy to settle on the sofa and snore the day away, and who need that extra bit of love in their golden years.
