Experienced friend to cats and rats

Hi, I’m Josie!

I’ve lived with cats my entire life (including 3 family cats) and currently help to care for my housemate’s 5-year-old cat, Bea. Bea is a very playful, high energy indoor cat, so I can bring creative ideas for playtime!

I work from home for a human rights charity, so have a flexible schedule that’s perfect for cat sitting.

I can offer:

• A free meet and greet
• Feeding and replacing water
• Cleaning/changing litter box
• Playtime and cuddles
• Administering medication (pills and liquid)
• Supervised outdoor time for indoor cats (where requested)
• Grooming (brushing, de-matting) if required
• Probably too many update photos and videos!

I’m very experienced with senior cats - my cat Genevieve, who passed away in 2022, had a lot of medical issues in her final years, so I’m used to administering medication and ear drops, and have no problem with cleaning up after older kitties and giving nervous or grumpy cats their space.

(I also had rats and gerbils growing up, so can care for your smaller furry friends too!)
