Zen cat sitting in Marchmont, Edinburgh

I work as a massage therapist, enjoy reading, knitting, and gardening, and a generally quiet life. I am practical, organised, respectful, good at improvising; I like to think I can bring a sense of peace. I left France for Scotland 16 years ago and eventually rehomed two void cats (Lucifer and Calcifer), finally achieving the cat lady status I longed for. But this has not dampened my mission to pet and love all the kitties I encounter - provided they agree to be pet and loved ;)

Feeding, water changing, litter management, basic sweep of feeding surfaces, watering plants (within reason), and ensuring things are kept clean and happy are naturally included in the service I propose. As a cat sitter, I am attentive to the temperament of the animal and adapt to their needs, be it to play, cuddle, brush their fur, lend my knees, scratch that sweet spot between the shoulder blades, or just sit calmly so they can check me out. I make great toys out of bottle caps, feathers and rafia, that get destroyed in days :)

Overnight care: not a regular service, however I am flexible for sick/anxious animals.

Other animals: I have not owned other animals but cats, however I have been around plenty of farm animals, exotic pets and rodents to be confident that I could care for them accordingly, provided with their specific instructions.
