Friendly, reliable and conscientious cat lover in BS6

Hello I'm Danielle! If you're reading this we most likely share a local community in common, as well as a love of cats. And who knows, I may actually have met your cat already...

I am the kind of person who can’t pass a cat in the street without stopping to say hello. Once a cat I befriended while out walking followed me all the way back to my house (a mile’s walk) because she was lost! Luckily she was microchipped, and the next day I was able to reunite her with her owner.

I grew up with cats from the age of eleven, including Basil the tabby who was my furry soulmate. Unfortunately I’m not in a position to own cats at the moment, so I do love the role of cat-sitter as it allows me to keep felines in my life!

As well as working in ethical marketing I am a piano-playing singer and songwriter, and I facilitate singing workshops. I have been police-checked and have an enhanced DBS certificate.

I offer a pop-in service. Once or twice a day I'll visit and spend a bit of time with your cats (unless they're off roaming!) I will:

• Feed them and provide fresh water, cleaning out their bowls
• Scoop out/refresh the litter tray
• Check that they seem happy and healthy
• Give them love/attention and possibly playtime, as appropriate (see below)

I understand that all cats are individuals and have their different personalities, needs and quirks – and the same goes for their owners! If your cat needs lots of attention and cuddles I can provide that, but I can equally give shy cats their space. While you’re away I can update you on how your kitty is doing on a daily basis or leave you with more space to enjoy your holiday, depending on what suits you.

Once you've made your first booking with me, I'll ask you to fill in an Info Sheet so I have a written record of essential info and instructions concerning your cat's care. I'll also arrange to pop round a few days before you go away for a free 'meet and greet', so we can meet properly and you can show me the ropes in person.
