About Me

Super experienced cat-sitter, available to cover Brighton and surrounding areas!

Hello fellow cat lovers :) My name is Lauren. I live in Brighton Marina, and as a current cat parent, and one who grew up with adorable kitties all my life, I fully understand the importance of leaving your beloved cat in both capable and trustworthy hands when you need to get away for any reason.

I work from home and cover Brighton, Hove, and all surrounding areas - both peak and off peak times. I am well versed in the necessities of looking after cats and cover all essentials, from feeding, litter scooping/changing, cleaning up any accidents, and most importantly, playtime.

I can also sort post, water plants, open/close curtains and shutters, and just generally take care of your home alongside your cat, should you require.

I split my time working at a university and writing in a freelance capacity so I am very flexible with timings.

I specialise in cat cuddles, treat giving and I am a super patient person. I’m very good with nervous cats and completely understand and respect the time and space they need, especially when they are dealing with a new sitter.

I cover Brighton, Hove and Portslade as well as Ovingdean to Peacehaven.

    I need a cat sitter for overnight stays. Lauren wanted to come to the house, meet Poppy and run through all tasks and requirements. Lauren was keen to make sure she had everything correct and sent photos of Poppy and messages during my absence, I felt Poppy was in safe hands and she left the house clean and tidy. Definitely recommended.

    Lauren did a great job of looking after our cat Willow for two weeks; she sent us regular photo updates and it was clear from early on that Willow felt very comfortable around her. Lauren also looked after our chickens. We would happily employ Lauren again to do the same. Thanks Lauren!

    My partner and I asked Lauren to sit for our cat recently and can safely say that this was such a reassuring experience!

    We received messages, pictures and videos from each visit and when we came home, it was clear they had been playing together, which was wonderful to see!

    I am already booking future visits with Lauren, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter :)
