Excellent as always - easy to sort things out, sends frequent pictures, and gets along really well with our cat. Definitely book Harriet if you need someone to look after your pets while away!

We've booked Harriet before, and would book her again - she really gets along with our cat, and is great at sending updates on how Vizi is doing. A+

Harriet looked after out cat for 6 days. She was great, every evening she sent us detailed updates, pictures and videos. She informed us if there was anything potentially worrying about the cat. From the videos we could see that our Poziomka was happy, she liked Harriet and trusted her. I would book Harriet again next time :)

Harriet was very kind, she took great care of our cat. She doesn't really like strangers and prefers to stay away, so it was a pleasant surprise to see her being approachable and even asking for cuddles! She liked having Harriet around, which was unexpected! Harriet sent photos and videos every day, so we were able to relax and enjoy our holiday :)

I left my highly anxious lockdown cat for the first time. She is timid and never aggressive. Harriet met Rose a few weeks prior, Rose hid. Upon research, this was not enough. Friday at 7pm I get an angry message that left me in tears. Rose scratched Harriet's ankle on Thursday but she didn't tell me. Went back Friday, both scared in their body language from the video. Harriet's tone to Rose was angry from entering my flat. Dog walker friends shocked at Harriet's manner. The message opened, "I have posted your keys. I will never go into your flat again." My key posted without water being filled in the bedroom or litter tray emptied. Said she wasn't the problem, it was Rose. Rose swiped Harriet on Thursday, I SHOULD have been told. I'd have sent my Dad on Friday. Rose deserved better.

Harriet took great care of Chip, send regular updates and was flexible when my plans changed.

Before going away, I warned Harriet that most cat sitters never see my cat, who hides from strangers. So I was pleasantly surprised when I received daily updates from Harriet that not only had she seen my cat, but had actually managed to get her to sit on her lap! Thank you Harriet for allowing me to come home to a very relaxed and happy cat! And I was also kept happy with daily updates.

Harriet has been taking care of my cat Arthur for a couple of months now every time I had a trip. My cat simply adores her and she is very sweet, caring and responsible. We never had any problems with her and thanks to her I always had a peace of mind when I was away. I'll for sure use her services when she's available and highly recommend her.

Not reliable, poor communication --------------- Cat Sitter Response --------------- I was disappointed and surprised to receive this negative review, but grateful to Cat in a Flat for giving me the opportunity to respond. As I have been able to clearly demonstrate to them with screenshots, I sent photo and video updates every day of this sitting. The claim of poor communication and unreliability seems to be based on a misunderstanding when it came to returning the keys. Having kept hold of them after my last visit to Rufus, in case there were problems with the journey home which would mean I would have to feed him again, I was asked to put the keys through the letter box. I did so, assuming this meant the letterbox at the building's entrance, which indicated it was for all of the five or so flats inside. Unfortunately, it turned out that Melissa had wanted me to come inside the building and post them through her flat's door. I of course apologised for the mixup. However, the instructions did not make clear that there was a distinction to be made between the two letterboxes, and so I believe it is unfair to imply I deliberately failed to do what was asked of me, or to conclude that I am unreliable. I would just ask potential clients to take my other consistently positive reviews into consideration when deciding whether to book me!

exceptional service. Harriet definitely knows her way around shy cats! She communicated with us immediately after our bookings and came in for a meeting before the scheduled date to familiarise here’s with the our kitty. She also communicated regularly during the booking and sent regular photo/video updates of our cat. I felt so lucky to have landed with such a professional and cat loving person for my first cat sitter.
