🐾 About Me – A Loving & Detail-Oriented Cat Sitter in Edinburgh 😺📸

Hi! I’m Qiao (Jo), a lifelong cat lover and proud cat mum to Gollum – an orange Persian boy I raised from a tiny, scrappy kitten into the chubby little king he is today 🧡👑. I named him after the Lord of the Rings character because, when I rescued him at three months old, he was skinny, wild-eyed and full of strange charm. Now he’s a full-time cuddler and nap expert! 💤

I’ve also cared for my parents’ cat Shijiu – a gorgeous white long-haired lady adopted on my 19th birthday (hence her name, which means “nineteen” in Chinese!) 🎂🐱 . I’ve spent years loving, feeding, brushing, and playing with these two very different felines – and learned to read cat moods like a second language.

Caring for cats isn’t just a task for me – it’s something I truly enjoy and feel deeply connected to. Over the years, I’ve become skilled in feline communication, recognizing when a cat wants affection and when they need space. I’ve also mastered the art of the perfect chin scratch – most cats can’t resist and will happily flop down under my touch!

With a background in visual arts and photography, I also love capturing your furry friend’s best moments 📷✨. I offer daily photo updates (with artistic flair!) to keep you connected while you’re away.

I treat every cat I care for like family – gently, respectfully, and always with patience 🐾. You can trust me to provide not only safety and basic care, but emotional comfort, too.

Whether you’re away for a weekend or a long trip, I’m here to ensure your cat is loved, well-fed, and never lonely. My services include:

1. Daily Visits I’ll stop by once or twice a day to feed, clean, cuddle, and play with your cat – all tailored to their mood and habits. 🍽️🐈

2. Play & Enrichment From interactive toys to gentle games and brush sessions, I make sure your cat stays stimulated and relaxed. 🎾🪞

3. Overnight Sitting If your cat prefers having company through the night, I offer overnight stays to keep them calm and cared for in their own home. 🏠🌙

4. Health & Hygiene Checks I pay close attention to subtle signs of change – including litter box habits – so I can spot anything unusual early and keep you informed. 🩺💩

5. Daily Photo Updates As a photographer, I’ll send you clear, charming pictures of your cat enjoying their day, so you can feel connected from afar. 📸🐾
