Hi, I’m Jessie, a final-year PhD student living in Leicester and a deeply devoted cat mum to two wonderful rescue cats. Although I only started living with cats in the past two years, I’ve poured my heart into learning how to provide them with a safe, healthy, and enriched life.

My first cat, a domestic shorthair boy, was adopted at 9 months old. He was very cautious and shy, but through gentle companionship and daily care, we’ve built an incredibly close relationship. He now climbs into my lap and rolls over affectionately every day. We’ve also developed a unique bond through clicker training, which he thoroughly enjoys. My second cat is a sweet Ragdoll girl, adopted when she was nearly four, after being rehomed three times. She came with deep insecurities and struggled to feel safe. With time, patience, and love, she has become a confident and happy cat who feels truly at home.

I take a thoughtful and attentive approach to their daily care. I brush their teeth daily, groom their coats, and clean their eyes and ears regularly. We've also transformed our backyard into a secure cat-friendly space where they can sunbathe, chase bugs, and watch birds through free access via the kitchen. Our boy Alex especially loves napping inside the cat house on rainy afternoons. Clicker training is a regular part of our bonding. They know how to high-five, press buttons to communicate, and follow verbal cues. Caring for cats has not only been a joy, but a deep journey of attention, empathy, and trust. I offer thoughtful and reliable cat sitting that centres your cat’s comfort, routine, and emotional wellbeing. I adapt my approach to suit their pace and preferences with gentleness and care. Each visit includes feeding (wet, dry, or mixed), refreshing water, checking that feeders and water fountains are plugged in and working, cleaning food bowls and litter boxes, and providing grooming, play, or cuddles, and preparing their puzzle toys, whatever your cat enjoys. I keep a close eye on their behaviour and litter box habits, and will promptly update you if anything seems unusual. You’ll receive daily photos and short videos, and I’m available on WhatsApp (including video calls) to answer any questions while you’re away. I’m also happy to water plants if needed.
