Purrrrrrfect Cat-Sitting Service in East Bristol

Hello everyone!

My name is Lou, I've lived in Bristol since 2005 and I work for the University of Bristol in Professional Services.

I love animals, hiking, wild camping, reading, keeping fit, meditating, travelling...

I particularly adore cats and they have always been a primary passion in my life. I love looking after friend and family pets in their homes as well as now also having joined Cat in a Flat!

Experience:

During my earlier years I completed the first year of veterinary nurse training where I quickly learned how to deliver medication to all sorts of animals, and of course cats.

I owned our lovely rescue cat Jaws for nearly 10 years and had a very special bond with her as she needed extra special gentle attention due to her nervous nature

I regularly cat-sit my neighbour's and friend’s cats

I volunteered at a cat rescue centre for a year whilst I lived in Montreal, where many of the cats were suffering with feline influenza and AIDS, so it was important to give them as much love and care as possible

I regularly look after my lovely feline friends - the gorgeous Elsa, the delightful Juno & Disco, the loveable Lucius Leftfoot, the little monkey Mina and the glorious Dora in Bristol!

I'm trained in Reiki for Animals which I often use to help them feel calm when we first meet

I adore helping cats feel as happy as they can be in their own homes!

I offer overnight visits (6 days minimum) in Bristol, so if you're going away on holiday and would prefer that your cat is able to be as stress-free as possible by staying in their own home, then I'll happily look after them in their own space.

I'm afraid I don't offer drop-in visits during the day.

I do work in the office in Clifton one day a week (on Wednesdays), but I will ensure your lovely fur friend has been fed before I leave for work and as soon as I return home early evening.

I work from home Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, so your beautiful fur friend will have plenty of company all day and at weekends :)

If your gorgeous feline enjoys regular play sessions I am very happy to oblige; it's important they get lots of interaction (whilst some cats prefer space). whatever your cat needs I will provide!

I'm happy to administer tablet medication if needed. I'm not qualified to administer injections.

I'm very happy to send regular photos/videos whilst you're away (as often as you would like them).
