8 out of 10 cats

My mom and I really love our five cats. I always wanted to have just one cat and made it a habit to joke around with my mom about getting a cat. We thought we couldn’t do this because we already have our elderly dog, but the cat distribution system worked its magic and instead granted me five! We took in two of our neighbours cats after they decided they didn’t really want to keep taking care of them. Both cats were pregnant and felt comfortable enough to give birth in our home, so we supported the moms and kept a watchful eye on the kittens, luckily they were both great mothers! Soon after this we found out from the neighbour that these cats were mother and daughter, which felt more special. When the time was right we had the cats spayed as we didn’t want them to have to go through birth again. We ended up keeping two cats from different litters followed by another kitten that was a descendent of our cats initial litter. So now we have a whole blood related family of cats!

I have had lots of experience with dealing with kittens as myself and my mom supported two of our cats through birth and watched the kittens whilst they went outside to relax. I understand that some cats prefer not to be petted as two of my cats can get overstimulated easily, so I will understand any boundaries that your cats have. I know that some people have more strict routines for their cats too, which is also something I can relate with as me and my mom call for our cats to come back inside when it starts to get dark, so that they can sleep comfortably inside. Luckily 4/5 cats tend to always come back in without trouble, but sometimes we can be calling for a while but we keep at it until we make sure they are safe and sound haha.
