Kent Cat Care 🐱

Hi! I’m a PhD student currently based in Canterbury, though I originally grew up on a ranch in Texas. My mum was a veterinarian, so I spent much of my childhood surrounded by animals and helping to care for them, including everything from cats and dogs to chickens, goats, horses, and even wild animals like raccoons, squirrels and deer.

Because of that upbringing, animals have always been a central part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them. I have a particular soft spot for cats. I’ve always had them and honestly can’t imagine life without one.

At the moment, my husband and I live with our beloved rescue cat Lucy, who made the journey across the Atlantic with me when I moved to the UK. I flew her with me to Belgium and then drove her across on the ferry to the UK, just so she could stay with me in the cabin at all times—she’s that spoiled, and very much part of the family!

I’m reliable, gentle, and very experienced in animal care and have very high standards for how animals should be treated. I’d be delighted to look after your cat as if they were my own.

I’m happy to provide whatever care your cat needs: from cuddles and playtime to feeding, fresh water, litter changes, and more complex tasks like administering medication. As someone who leaves very detailed instructions for anyone caring for my own fur baby, I completely understand how important it is to feel your cat is cared for to the same high standard when you are away. No request is too big or too small. I’ll treat your pet with the same care and attention I give to my own. I have a car so happy to drive to any location within my area.
