I have been looking after dogs and cats for the last year and it's been such a pleasure caring for them and seeing to their unique needs. 
I've been around pets my whole life - dogs, cats, fish and even tortoise. ️We have our family cat for 4 years now and he is so loved and incredibly well looked after.

I live in a one bedroom apartment with a large, fenced balcony. Depending on your pets needs, they would have access to this if it was suitable for them. There are lots of nice dog walking areas very close to my apartment so it's easy to pop out for a walk or toilet run. I'm happy for all pets to sit on my furniture or bed but if this is something you don't allow in your home I would stick with your rules.
