Experienced and Enthusiastic Cat Lover

Hi, my name is Remlah and I have always loved animals, particularly cats. I have two cats of my own since 2015 and have also fostered many homeless cats and kittens since then. It is so amazing watching them grow and develop from terrified babies to playful and confident companions!

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, for which I received a First class Honours, and have worked hundreds of hours in cat and rabbit rescues, pet shops, and stables.

My pet sitting services are supported not only by my love of caring for animals, but also by extensive studying and real life experiences. I understand cats' often imperceptible behaviour and body language, which allows me to make sure that I am meeting their physical and mental welfare needs to the highest standards possible. I love grooming and playing with cats, as well as teaching them tricks, and am able to medicate them whenever necessary.

As your cat sitter I will: - Meet with you and your cat(s) prior to you leaving to get to know you all and ensure I understand your cat's individual needs

• Provide fresh food and water in cleaned bowls daily

• Clean out the litter tray and dispose of the litter properly daily - you won't be coming home to a smelly house

• Groom, play and cuddle with your cat

• Be patient if your cat is nervous and always speak gently to them

• Enrich your cat by teaching them a simple trick like "sit" or "high five" (depending on how long you are gone for and if your cat can have additional treats) **

• Medicate cats (only if deemed necessary by a veterinarian) **

• Will look after any additional cats or pets as I have much experience with rabbits, rodents, reptiles, birds, and fish from working with these animals in a college animal centre **
