Feline of Duty

My wife and I have two grown-up children and five (count 'em!) cats - Missy, Luna, Freddie, 'the little one', and Fergal the Furry Fuhrer of Fergaltown in Fergalville.

I spend my days writing comedy comedy or essays about films, and of course looking after our lovely cats -- one of whom, Luna, is a rescue and who is very needy (but that's fine by me!).

When I was a young man, I was more of a dog person, but when our children were toddlers my wife and I adopted a kitten, and very soon I was smitten and have grown a deep love for cats. Even when they're being completely horrible.

Our local vet is Avon Lodge Veterinary Group on Wells Road.

I will visit your home to keep your cat (or cats) company, feed them, and play with them if they'll let me. I will sit with a good book and let them snuggle up to me, and I will read to them (I know they don't understand, I just think they are comforted).

I will diligently administer any medications or treatments.

Your cat will be safe and cared for in my company.

For overnight stays, I will arrive before 9pm and spend the night on your sofa, rising at an early hour to feed and then play with your cat.
