I make sure to keep a consistent routine that aligns with the pet’s needs, whether it’s daily exercise for an active cat or extra attention for cat that thrives on companionship. Cleaning up after them, monitoring their health, and keeping owners updated with photos or messages are also part of my routine to ensure both the pet and their owner feel secure and happy.

When caring for pets in a pet owner's home, I prioritise maintaining their routine and ensuring they feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I follow the owner's instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, portion sizes, and any dietary restrictions. Fresh water is always available, and I keep their living space clean, whether that means refreshing bedding, cleaning litter boxes, or tidying up after meals.

Before pet sitting I ask for some key details in advance, which include: daily routine, care needs, health/medical information, behaviour/temperament, house rules/preferences, and emergency plans.
