About Me
The Cat Lady of Carmarthenshire
I established my cat-sitting business while living in Manchester and am proud of my many excellent testimonials. I am now pleased to be able to offer my services in the Kidwelly area. I am a lifelong cat owner, & have a Diploma in Feline Behaviour and Psychology. I am currently owned by 5 cats (this is a fluctuating number!) and have also fostered cats and kittens for Cats Protection & other animal charities. I have fostered for over 10 years & in this role have cared for kittens from birth right up to the point when they are ready for homing. Also nursing mothers with their litters, who are very scared and bewildered. It gives me an immense amount of satisfaction to see a much-loved foster cat or kitten develop and grow in confidence and go on to their forever-home. I strongly believe that looking after your cats in the comfort of their own home is much less stressful for them than putting them in a cattery when you have to go away. I have an affinity and can form a bond with most cats. My friends & clients describe me as a cat-whisperer, an accolade I am happy to accept. Oh, and my profile pic is of me kissing a serval kitten which I was fortunate to meet at close quarters at Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom in Shropshire!
I live in Llansaint, near Kidwelly and have my own transport so the following areas are all within easy reach: Burry Port, Carmarthen, Carway, Cross Hands, Ferryside, Four Roads, Five Roads, Ffos Las, Kidwelly, Llanelli, Llansaint, Mynydd-y-Garreg, Pembrey, Pontyates, Pontyberem, Trimsaran, Tumble. A small mileage supplement to reflect additional travel costs will be added to the booking fee for any bookings over 5 miles away to ensure I am not working at a loss (All amounts to be agreed prior to booking.) I can also consider areas further afield and am happy to discuss on an individual basis. As well as looking after all aspects of your cat's welfare I am also happy to feed fish, water plants, bring in mail/papers, switch lights on/off, etc. - just ask!
