About Me

Hi I'm Emma a big animal lover who's here to care for your cats when needed.

I have always loved animals and been around them since I was a little girl. We have all sorts from gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs.

When I was 13 I worked on a farm with the ponies and horses and loved being around the animals on the farm. I also did my work experience at school in a Kennels and Cattery and loved it.

Unfortunately, when I left school I began working in an office and then family life happened, and never continued to my dream job.

So here I am pursuing a passion of mine and also my sons of working with animals, after taking over from a cleaner we had whilst I had surgery, I began cat sitting for a couple who needed there cats cared for while I was looking for work. Turned out I used to work with Sam and for last few years I have gone and cared for there two cats Tia and Mitz.

I don't currently have any cats but was brought up around them. We have two small dogs and we love them very much.

I sadly had to re home our guineapigs as I had become allergic to the hay, but don't worry they have gone to live with a Vet, his wife and two other guineapigs, and are living there best life there, we are so pleased and they don't get bothered by the dogs here.

I have completed a Canine First Aid course with Solihull college too so can help out if there are any accidents.

Here's how it typically works:

  1. Home Visits: I will visit the cat's home one or more times per day. This depends on what the owner needs and what the cat is comfortable with. Charges apply for each visit.

  2. Services Provided: These visits can include a variety of services. This could be feeding the cat, providing fresh water, cleaning the litter box, playing with the cat, and even clean up the mess and washing the bowls. I can water your plants too if needed.

  3. Benefits of Cat Sitting: There are a lot of benefits to cat sitting. Here are a few:

  4. Reduced stress for the cat: Cats can get stressed easily, especially in new environments. By staying in their own home, they can avoid this stress and anxiety.

  5. Personalised care: Every cat is unique, and I as a cat sitters understand this. I can tailor your services to meet the specific needs of each cat, including their personality and routine.

  6. Home security: Having someone visit the home regularly can also provide a sense of security for the owner while they are away. It's like having a house sitter and a cat sitter in one!

So, if you're a cat owner planning a trip, consider hiring a cat sitter. Your furry friend will thank you!
