Lesley's Pop-ins - Practically Purrfect Pet Care

I've lived with and owned cats and dogs my whole life, and currently have four wonderful furry companions - a handsome hound and three beautiful cats; one of whom is a rescue feral kitten that I adopted from fostering her (that's her in my profile picture).

When I go out for the day, or away overnight, I prefer my fur-family to stay at home where they are happiest and I realise that other people must feel the same too. My grown up kids are cat owners too, and I usually provide the cat-granny pet sitting duties when they are away, but recently we were away together and one of them used Cat in a Flat to find a lovely girl to pop in and look after their grey girl.

As a committed animal lover (my dad used to say I was animal daft!), I love the idea of being able to help pets to stay in their familiar surroundings, while giving their owners peace of mind that their fur-baby is going to be looked after. I'm looking forward to being that pop-in person for you.

Happy to do a quick pop-in to check your wee one is ok, to do a longer play and feeding visit if you are away for a longer spell. I love to give cuddles, but I know not every cat wants to be stroked by a 'stranger', so I will respect their boundaries. But if they come up for a pet, I will be on the floor and petting away before they can say 'meow'.

Happy to give treats, as per your instructions. Special diets, and supervising and encouraging fussy eaters is a speciality. I can also administer medication, as long as I have been given instructions and any relevant demonstrations!!

I can change litter trays, scoop poop and clean up any deposits I find. (I will always let you know if your pet has been sick or had an upset tum while you were away).

I am also happy to put out/bring in bins or open/close curtains for that 'someone is around' look if you are away over night. Just ask and let me know which curtains and which bins. I want you to feel like your pet is being cared for (not just fed and watered) and I'm looking forward to meeting them.
