Your Friendly Neighbourhood Pet Sitter Gateshead and Newcastle

Hello, my name is Amy, your local friendly neighbour pet sitter. Or as my daughter likes to call me, the 'Whisker Whisperer'.

My mum used to call me Dr Dolittle, as she used to catch me talking to my family pets (I still do). I have always loved animals (especially cats), and enjoyed their companionship. I have two beautiful house cats of my own who are a big part of my family and my life.

I have cared for my family and friends pets for many years, and for the past two and a half years I have been a pet sitter in my local neighbour, for the most part of this year I have been pet sitting across the Gateshead and Newcastle area.

The services that I usually provide are: caring for pets in/from their own home; feeding; playing/exercising; litter cleaning; medication administration when required.

I create personalised 'Pet Profiles' for each pet that I care for, which are confidentially filed, and updated when required. Clients also received a copy of their pet's profile upon request. I provide regular updates for clients when caring for their pets.

I work mostly flexible hours over weekdays and weekends to meet your pets care requirements. I work flexibly throughout the year, over school holidays, bank holidays and Christmas holidays.

I cover the Gateshead area and some of the Newcastle area. I care for multiple pets within their own home.

House care services that I can include at no extra cost include: taking in parcels and letters/mail; opening/closing blinds/curtains; turning lights off/on; watering plans, taking bins in/out.

I am fully insured, I have a full, clear DBS, a UK driving licence and a car. I use my own PPE. Some recent references below:
