Cat sitter in London

Hey! My name is Joe but I go by Ari, I’m currently a mature evening student at Birkbeck studying Psychosocial studies! I’ve grown up around cats, and I’ve had a dog as well but cats are where my heart is!! My first cat was a beautiful black cat named Katie (that I ended up calling kitty as my family had her before me) - she was an indoor cat, and so she spent all her time with anyone who was around. I remember her more as an adult cat, she was calm and affectionate but in that way where she just wanted to be in the same room as you, and would follow you, but just do her own thing in your company (I loved her so much, she died a few years ago and it was heartbreaking, but she lived to be 21 so it felt like the right time). My cat now is named Griff, he’s a BIG ginger boy (in my profile picture), and just the most delightful and sweet thing I’ve ever known!!! He was quite aggressive when he was young, but I learned that he was just quite shy and got overwhelmed easily. So I learned how he liked being interacted with (he loves being petted but only if you’re already sitting and don’t overdo it, and he also loves playing fetch (seriously)). I think the most important thing is learning how the cat wants to be interacted with, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable at all times!!!
