Professional Human for Hire (for Cats!) in SE London

Hi, I’m Awc, based in SE London. I have over 5 years of hands-on cat care experience, having lived with and cared for a variety of cats including Persian (Garfield-type), calico, and tuxedo cats. Each of them had very different personalities and needs, which taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of respecting every cat as an individual.

In addition to being a devoted cat owner, I’ve also volunteered in cat rescue work for 4 years in China. This gave me valuable experience supporting cats with medical conditions, building trust with shy or nervous cats, and ensuring their wellbeing before they found forever homes. At present, I share my home with three rescue cats — all with unique medical histories — which has further deepened my understanding of health monitoring and compassionate daily care.

For me, cat sitting is never just about feeding and cleaning. It’s about creating safety, consistency, and love, so that every cat feels secure and content while their humans are away.

When looking after your cat, I will: • Feed on time and provide fresh water • Clean litter trays and keep their environment tidy • Give companionship, playtime, and cuddles (only if your cat enjoys them!) • Administer oral medication if needed • Monitor behaviour or health changes closely, and update you right away if I notice anything unusual • Share daily updates with photos/videos for your peace of mind

I cover SE London (Catford, Lewisham, Hither Green and surrounding areas), and I’m happy to adapt my visits to your cat’s specific routine.
