Keeping Cats Happy, Healthy, & Cuddled in London

I have always loved animals, and have had many cats over the course of my life. Cats have been a part of my family since I was a child. Actually, my home has never really felt complete unless a cat or two has lived with me. Perhaps that’s because growing up we had 11 cats and over the past 30 years I have had several of my own. At present we have sweet Oliver, who is pictured with me in my photo.

I love cats. I enjoy their company as well as the challenge of gaining their trust. When a cat seeks me out to spend time with me, I feel honored, because it means they trust me. I understand that every cat has their own personality, just as every person does, and I’m excited to meet, and get to know, your cat.

I’m very mindful about caring for animals holistically through diet, mental stimulation, exercise, and companionship, which is especially important for indoor cats living in a city. Since my cat Oliver doesn’t go outside, I make sure he has activities available that challenge him mentally and I keep him physically fit by playing with him daily. I would do the same for your cats.

A bit about myself … My husband and I moved to London from Seattle 5-1/2 years ago, and we live in Islington near Highbury & Islington station. I am a freelance weaver/fibre artist and I’m completing my culinary certification to become a private chef/recipe tester/cookbook author. I love spending time with cats and would love the opportunity to look after yours. They bring me joy, and if I can help you by looking after your cats, that’s even better.

I understand the concerns that may arise leaving your cat(s) in the care of a stranger. Rest assured, they will be in good hands with me. I’m happy to address any questions or concerns you may have to help put you at ease. I’m more than competent, dependable, and trustworthy. Most importantly, I’ll spend quality time with your cats and make sure they are well cared for with fresh food, water and companionship. I’m happy to administer simple medications, clean the litterbox, and provide photos/updates of your cat via WhatsApp documenting our visits. I can also water your plants, and collect your mail if that is helpful to you. I look forward to meeting you and your cat.
