Western corner sitters

Hello,

I’m Caroline and I’ve lived in the area for over 10 years. I live with my son. I work office based and home based and do travel but when I’m home would love to be able to host a pet, or pop in for cuddles and care to spend time with someone else’s pet(s).

I live in an upper flat (with a large garden).

I had cats for most of my life, with Willow (my own cat) living to the ripe age of between 19-21 (we were never sure her age we got her around 2-5 and the vet couldn’t tell her age) and Bruno (our long term foster dog) lived to be an aged gent as well. I’ve looked after dogs, fish, tortoise's, rabbits and hedgehogs too!

I am not able to have a commitment to a pet permanently but we very much miss animal contact.

I can provide references.

I can support feed times, cuddles, dealing with anxious pets, and even putting a pet in pet box to take to the vets (so you are not seen as the unkind person) and most things as an option should you need anything support wise for your pets.

I will host indoor cats only.

The distance on hosted pets makes no difference as the pets will get transported anyway, so Edinburgh boundaries apply there and can be discussed and agreed if workable.

I’ve given medication before (both with dogs and cats) and would be comfortable doing so if required.
