Whiskers & Waves – Cat Care from a Marine Biologist

Hi! My name is Mim and I’m a marine biologist based in Plymouth and Torbay and currently work as the Lead Seagrass Aquaculture Technician at the National Marine Aquarium. I hold two first-class degrees in marine science, along with a first class diploma in veterinary science. So caring for animals, both big and small, has always been a passion of mine.

I live with two cats, a dog and many fish tanks. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets while you’re away, someone who treats them like their own. That’s the kind of care I try to provide.

I started a pet sitting business when I was 14 and did that for about 6 years. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and happy to adapt to your cat’s unique routines and needs and I’ll try my best to make sure your cat feels safe and loved while you’re gone.

I offer reliable cat sitting services in and around Plymouth and also in Torbay as I work in a nursery there a few days a week . Happy to come and have a little chat and play with your cat after feeding or if they’re shy just make sure everything is all ok, I’ll adapt to their personality and routine to keep them comfortable while you’re away.

I’m happy to help with feeding, litter changes, medication (if needed), and sending regular updates so you know your cat is in safe hands. As someone who lives with two cats myself, I understand how important trust and consistency are.
