Kitty Cat Cuddle Buddy

Hello! I'm Michelle, I'm 30+13 yrs and living in Newcastle upon Tyne. A born and bred Geordie so I'm super friendly, liberal & reliable. I am the lucky legal slave of Florrie (dog) and Tina (cat), they're both rescued from Pets at Home North East. Florrie is an 8 yr old mongrel who has been with me through thick and thin since she was 12 weeks old, she's very much like me with a happy go lucky disposition, likes her scran, doesn't like loud noises, wants to be everyone's marra and is very fond of naps. Tina is our 5 yr old Calico Queen who I re-homed earlier this year, she has been my light and life since she sashayed out of the cat carrier, singing her arrival to Florrie with a reciprocated headbutt which cemented their BBF status, wherever Tina goes Florrie dutifully and derpidly follows. I grew up with many a cat and dog, each one contributing to my empathy, resilience and understanding of their needs by sharing their own uniqueness and quirks.

I have a First Class BA Hons in Social Care and throughout my working career I have had the pleasure of supporting Children and Young People with challenging behaviour in various settings from a Learning Support Assistant, Foster Parent and a Mental Health Support worker. I have an up to date enhanced DBS certificate with no convictions of any kind and I am happy to provide you access to check my status online. The more birthday candles I collect, the more I'm happy to declare that Animals are where it's at!, I'm true Neurodivergent so I smile at cats and dogs and then realise I should also smile at their humans, social gathering invites have to include details of what animals are going to be in attendance before I decide if I'm going or not.
