The Edinburgh Cat Whisperer: Your cat's wellbeing is my priority, so you can paws and relax!

Hi, my name is Veronika, and I've been obsessed with cats ever since I can remember! I am lucky to have two wonderful cats of my own and over five years of experience fostering for a local cat rescue. Over the years, I’ve cared for cats of all ages, personalities, and needs, from shy cats to energetic kittens, senior cats, disabled cats and cats requiring medication, so I am prepared for any challenge that should arise, and I understand just how important it is to be gentle and patient.

When you’re away, I’ll make sure your cat feels comfortable and safe in their own home. I’m happy to follow your routines closely, whether that’s feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, or administering medication if needed. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you’ll know your cat is happy and well-cared for every day.

I've been fostering cats for the last 7 years so I’m experienced with a variety of temperaments and know how to win the trust of even the most nervous or independent felines. Your cat’s well-being is always my top priority, and I treat every cat as if they were my own.

I offer both drop-in visits and overnight stays so that your cat stays comfortable in their own environment while you’re away. Each visit includes:

Fresh food and water according to your cat’s routine Litter box cleaning and tidy-up around feeding/litter areas Playtime and cuddles (if your cat is comfortable) Administering medication if required (oral or topical) Plenty of updates with photos or videos so you know how your cat is doing

I’m also happy to take care of little extras, like bringing in the post, watering plants, or turning lights on/off for added security.
