I work in customer care, where I help people every day with patience, empathy, and clear communication—skills that also come in handy when caring for animals, especially cats! I own cats of my own, aged 3 and 2, and they’ve truly become part of my family.

My love for cats started when I adopted a stray when I was 16 years old. I had moved into a new house and the stray had claimed the house as his own. My love for him grew very quickly. Housing him was the best decision I had ever made. He was a lost cat so I only kept him temporarily and returned him to his rightful owner. But the impact he had on me lasted forever. One of my cats has ongoing health issues, which has taught me how to care for sick or anxious pets with gentleness and attention. I love cats for their unique personalities, quiet affection, and the comfort they bring. Being around them brings me joy, and I love making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood—even when their owners are away.
