Hello, I'm Syd.

I lost my 1st & only cat in Feb '24 💔🌈🐾🖤🤍He was a true therapy pet & my best pal for 17 years.

Not in the position to adopt again yet, but looking to heal my wee heart & would be delighted to connect with & look after others' wee ones in that process❤️‍🩹

I am relaxed, patient & really adore the presence of cats. Not shy about the unglam stuff: daily litter maintenance, cleaning up after messy eaters, wiping up furballs etc. I'm confidently-gentle with medicine giving.

I'm a PVG Scheme member.

Appreciate the need to let cats build trust on their terms. I'd always respect your cats boundaries wether they're a chatty sociable cuddler, enjoy playtime / a brush, or are a shy or spicy wee thing that doesn't want petted much (or at all.) Always up for wee cat naps as well, if they are so inclined!

Basically I can be as hands-on or as hands-off as you feel they need. Happy to share pics / vids of them with you while you're away.

Goes without saying, I'd treat your space as if it were my own. (If you've plants needing looked after I'll need proper instructions though 😅!)

I rely on the bus/walking - happy to catsit within a 2-3'ish mile radius of Battlefield. (May be willing to venture further out if our circumstances align.) I work flexibly: Could do pre or post-work visits (or both). On WFH days, (which chop & change,) there's scope for local afternoon visits.

Meet & greet / vibe-check essential ahead of any sitting. My prices reflect the time, love & energy I put in. As such, I'm unlikely to take on multiple clients on the same day (Perhaps only occasionally if they're close by.) I generally strive for longer visits - minimum 30 mins but more than likely closer to 60 mins +

I may seek to adjust prices to suit extra needs if we agree e.g. for extra time, short notice bookings, if I'm traveling further, visiting at unusual times, if there are multiple cats etc. Open to discuss this with you.

Also potentially open to "working from yours" for adjusted price if cat might benefit from company during the day...
