About Me

Experienced Ealing cat sitter

Hi there! My name's Anna, and by day I work as a horticulturalist at Kew Gardens. By night, I am probably out petting a random cat on my street.

I've owned 5 different cats throughout my life, two shy girls, one with neurological/behavioural problems, one deaf cat, and one very elderly blind cat who needed gentle treatment and the occasional tablet, which altogether is a mighty 18 years of cat ownership. I've been on catinaflat since 2016 and have had many satisfied furry customers!

I am DBS checked and confident to do the everyday tasks associated with cat-ownership, such as feeding, grooming, medicating, and cleaning up the stinky bits. I will give your cat as much attention as s/he demands, and could happily trail a string around all day so it’s no problem for me! I used to help out in my friend’s cattery, and although I loved it, there were plenty of kitties that were obviously stressed and missing home very much. So when I first heard about this site I was so excited, not just because I get to meet new cats, but because I will be able to keep them happy in their own homes.

I walk/cycle/tube around as I don't drive, but am happy to cat sit if it's a reasonable distance away (it ain't easy being green!). I would also be more than happy to take care of your plant-cats and collect your post-cats if you need, and do other tasks while you are away such as putting out bins etc.

Before catsitting, I like to meet with owners in advance to discuss what they would like from me, any daily routines, and obviously meet the cat too! So while you're enjoying your holiday, I’ll pop in however many times you would like, and keep you updated with photos too if you wish.

    Second time of using Anna. She has been brilliant - took the time to make a really lovely connection with our very shy young cat and had definitely made firm friends with him by the end of the 2 weeks. We came home to a very relaxed and happy cat. Anna was also happy to put our bins out and water the garden which was an added bonus for us. I highly recommend Anna as a cat sitter.

    Anna was very reliable. Good communication before and during our holiday including sending us photos every day of our young cat. Our cat is shy and a bit nervy and Anna had to work hard to make friends with him, but succeeded in the end. When we got back Rupert was a bit shy with us but settled back into his normal routines quickly. I would certainly use Anna again and would recommend her to others.

    Anna was a brilliant sitter from start to finish. She came to meet us prior to our booking to put any worries at ease. Anna was also in regular communication with updates whilst I was away. Returned home to a happy, well looked after cat. Will 100% be booking Anna again for future cat sitting needs! Thanks again for looking after Pavi so well :)

Anna kept us updated with messages and pictures and made us feel very at ease. When we returned, Monty was happy and relaxed, as if we had never left!     Anna looked after our cat Mortimer whilst we were away recently. She came round to meet him a few days before and I could tell that she would be a caring and reliable sitter. During our trip she sent updates with photos which we thought were a great touch.

    Anna really went the extra mile to ensure a great service for both cats and myself! She kept great communication with a little message everyday to let us know how they were getting on and even took time out of her own schedule to come and meet the cats before hand! Excellent service, I will highly recommend and certainly be calling on Anna again in the future!
