We couldn't recommend Mariam highly enough. We were slightly hesitant about the idea of a cat sitter at first, however immediately upon meeting Mariam all of our reservations subsided. She is friendly and professional, sent us daily photos and provided perfect company for our little girl!

Mariam is the best!! She’s been my go-to cat sitter for over a year now. She always sends updates of our little kitty and Aloe is always in good spirits when I get home. 🫶

I couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter for our cat Gnocchi! Mariam has been incredibly kind and kept us updated with messages and adorable pictures and videos. Mariam is fantastic! This was my first time leaving my cat alone since moving to the country, so we both had some anxiety over not being together. Mariam took detailed notes when we first met and really put effort into making my cat comfortable but not being too pushy of her nervousness. She also sent me updates and photos or videos every day. She’s very communicative and I would highly recommend her. I will definitely be using her services again.

Cat in a Flat was the best decision we have made for a while! On previous trips we left our cat Bella (and her litter tray, food bowls, food, water bowls, brush and toys) with a friend - adding a bit more complexity to every holiday. It also caused a little stress on our last trip when our fight home was delayed several hours (so it was touch and go if we would be back in time to collect Bella that evening - which I desperately wanted to do).

Cat in a Flat was perfect for us - but still we hesitated - would Bella be ok? Would we be ok letting someone we didn't know come in and out of our home - but all these fears were completly put aside once we met Mariam.

Mariam visited us to meet Bella and learn about Bella before we finalised the booking. Mariam was so kind, friendly and fun we almost forgot why she was here - if felt more like she was a friend popping into see us, not someone meeting us and Bella for the first time.

Whilst we were away we had lovely daily updates from Mariam along with pictures and videos - we could see from the updates that Marian had really bonded with Bella and also spent quite a lot of time with her playing. We felt completely relaxed being away knowing that Bella was safe at home and getting all the attention and love she needed.

When we got home Bella acted like we had been out for a couple of hours - which for us was the perfect outcome :) there was no sulking, hiding or extra affection. We even had a lovely note from Marian welcoming us home. We will not hesitate to book Mariam again when we go away for us it was the perfect arrangement.

Mariam was absolutely fantastic! We were caught short as the friend who looks after our fluff baby had was unable to at the last minute - we contacted Mariam through Cat in a Flat and received a super quick response confirming that she had availability and could help us out. When she came round to meet Phoebe, we knew straight away that we were leaving her in good hands. Mariam is clearly very much a cat lover and it put our minds at ease being able to go away knowing that Phoebe would be looked after by someone who would enjoy coming to see her. We got photo/video updates each day, which always put a smile on our faces. Mariam is polite, friendly and professional and we got to enjoy our break away without any worries as to whether Phoebe was OK. Highly recommend, and we will be reaching out again in the future when we need some fluff babysitting :)

Mariam was a God sent. She was so incredibly professional right from the beginning, trust worthy, and very loving and caring with our cat. We had a sudden change of plans and Mariam was so accomodating and made our extended trip so stress free not only when it came to the care of our cat but foralso putting out our bins, watering our plants etc. I couldn't recommend Mariam enough. She kept me updated everyday with pictures and videos and I knew with 100% certainty that our cat was in the best hands.

I would definitely use Mariam again and again. Our cat LOVED her and all the toys that she brought to play with him. She treated him as if he was her own.
