Purr & Play Cat Sitting

Hi, I’m Aimee! I’m 27, originally from the North East of England, and I moved to beautiful Edinburgh in 2025 with my boyfriend, who is a doctor here, originally from Singapore. I used to be an NHS project manager back home, but traded in my spreadsheets for more exciting things… like cat cuddles.

Right now, I’m a full-time cat mum to my sassy little sidekick, Mavis, until I find my next “human” job. That means I’ve got plenty of time for both my fur baby and yours ☺️.

I’ve been looking after cats and small animals for over 10 years, from my own adopted kitties to family pets and rescue cats. Mavis came into my life in 2024 from Stray Aid, and before her was Alfie, another RSPCA rescue who now rules my mum’s house. My grandparents’ cat, Leo, wandered into their greenhouse as a stray kitten and stayed for life. I’ve also had the joy (and occasional chaos) of looking after hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, and fish over the years.

Whether your cat loves to chase toys until they’re exhausted or prefers to curl up for endless cuddles, I’m here for it. And if they’d rather give me the side-eye from a safe distance until they decide I’m worthy… I get it, I’m a bit shy at first too.

Oh and if you’ve got plant babies, you’re in safe hands. I’ve somehow managed to keep over 10 plants alive (even after a long-distance house move) so I can give them a little TLC too.
