Qualified veterinarian available for cat sitting in Reading!

Hi! I’m Jean-Christophe. I’m a qualified veterinarian with plenty of experience caring for animals, and I’m based in Reading.

I currently work in teaching and research at the Royal Veterinary College, mostly from home, which means I have plenty of time to look after your cat(s).

I have a lot of experience of cat care having grown up with them, through my work and from cat-sitting. I’d be really happy to take care of your furry friend(s) whenever you need.

Because of my experience, I’m able to offer a wide range of services while you’re away. These include:

• spending quality time and offering attention/cuddles
• playtime
• giving treats
• administering medications in various forms
• cleaning litter trays
• providing fresh food and water
• basic grooming
• photo and video updates
• help with small household tasks (e.g., watering plants, collecting post/parcels, taking out the rubbish)

I have experience with cats of many different temperaments and a good understanding of feline behaviour. If your cat is nervous or shy, I’ll make sure each visit is as calm and stress-free as possible.

If your cat(s) have any specific needs or you have particular requests, I’m very happy to discuss them and I’m confident I can accommodate most things.

I’m also flexible with visit times and frequency, and I’m open to offering overnight stays if that’s something you’d find helpful.
