Dedicated veterinary nurse and kitty adorer 🥰 | Edinburgh + Lothians

Hi there 😊 My name is Nikki, and I am a dedicated and compassionate veterinary nurse from Singapore, who is now a full time veterinary student at Edinburgh uni.

As a veterinary nurse, I have spent over 7 years in small animal practices (incl urgent care) working with precious critters bringing a range of temperaments, ages and medical conditions. Thus, I have become adept at handling, reading animal behaviour/body language, and providing a gold standard of husbandry and medical attention for cats, dogs, rodents, and rabbits ♥️

Personally, I have had the blessing of keeping pet kitties ever since I was young, and currently I have 2 sweetie pies back home who have just turned 6 years old 🐣

My attributes  • Unwavering passion for animal welfare: I will always go at the pace your little one is comfortable with, do things in the way they prefer, and read their behaviours so as to adjust my own to keep them feeling happy, safe and respected 🥰 • Skilled at administering oral, inhalent, topical, and injectable medications/fluids - and I will always observe your pet closely for any side effects/adverse reactions or discomfort  • Trained in veterinary CPR and first aid 

For each visit, depending on what the specified tasks are, I can: -wash their food/water bowls and feed them  -administer any medications they are on -clean any litter boxes or bring them out to relieve themselves  -engage in active playtime with them +- cuddles if they're happy for me to do so 🧸 -brush their teefies/groom their fur if its part of their routine!

What to expect • Pictures/videos of your sweet babies with every visit 🎀💕 • Regular updates on their wellbeing and if there's anything out of the ordinary I notice  • A complimentary meet up session before any multiple day or overnight bookings, so we can go over your pet's routines, quirky preferences, and any ongoing medical treatments
