Caring Cat Sitter in Parkstone

Hi I’m Kat and live in Parkstone, Poole. I am an Environmental Social Sciences graduate, passionate about wildlife, sustainability and animal welfare. I am thoughtful, emphatic and caring, as well as being reliable, organised and tidy. I am a volunteer for the National Trust and Dorset Wildlife Trust doing conservation management.

I love cats, and always have, having grown up with them my whole life. I currently have two of my own; Arthur who is a 2 year old, lively but affectionate, and a bit nervous tuxedo cat, and Storm who is a friendly black and white cat, who is 15 years old, and has some health issues, which I help to administer medication for him. I’m currently unemployed, and so have lots of availability and flexibility for cat sitting.

I offer pop in and homestay visits, which includes feeding and changing litter. I can also administer basic medication if needed. I will follow the cat’s lead on whether they would like attention and play time. I love giving cats lots of cuddles and treats and playing with them!! I understand their body language well, as I have a very nervous cat myself. I'm happy to leave them in peace, and take the time to build their trust.

I am happy to help with watering plants, taking out bins, and opening or closing curtains, if needed.
