KitKat Pet Sitting

I am a qualified midwife, currently between jobs after having a break to go traveling. Animals are one of my favourite things, I have always loved them! I have always enjoyed being patient and earning their trust and making them feel safe and comfortable with me. I was a horse rider growing up and would want to spend hours sitting with the horses, cats and dogs at the stables.

I have a beautiful bengal cat with my family, who has a big personality to say the least. Ozy has quirks like all lovely pets and is very sepcial. As he is now 14 years old, he is more of a lap cat an very cuddly. In his youth I used to run up an down the house with him chasing his toys. In lockdown I also tought him some tricks too (for the price of a dreamie of course)!

I have also had two lovely rabbits, hamsters and ginuea pigs.

I love to get to know each cat/pet and their own personalities. Each cat is different and unique and have their own prefered routines. I love to have fun playing with cats and get their wiggles out by having a good run around and play. I also enjoy spending time giving a cat some cuddles, attention and TLC, or some quiet lap time. But I also respect that some cats like their personal space. I want to do whatever makes them happy and content. I have cat sit for my neighbours cats on many occasions and took the time to understand each cat's personality and what made them feel safe, secure and loved. I also have experience from my own cat of health issues arising and how to respond and I am aware of trusted vets/out of hours vets nearby. Caring for a pet doesn't feel like a job to me - its something I've always done with alot of heart. Please do not hestitate to ask about anything specific for your furbaby!
