Happy Cats with Helena: Nottingham

Hi, my name’s Helena Bendall. I am a health worker at Queen’s Medical Centre and a lifelong cat lover. Although I’m not in a position to adopt right now, I’d love the chance to spend quality time with a cat or kitten who needs some temporary care.

I grew up with two wonderful British Shorthair cats, and one of them, Lola, developed thyroid problems and later cancer in her older years. Caring for her gave me plenty of experience with senior cats, including giving oral medication, keeping up with litter changes, and providing lots of extra love and comfort.

If you’re looking for someone, reliable, trustworthy, and caring to look after your cat while you’re away, I’d be delighted to help- and give them all the fuss and attention they deserve!

(I have a full enhanced DBS disclosure due to working in a hospital and can discuss any security concerns that arise.)

Along with keeping your cat’s routine consistent, I can provide:

Fresh food and water to keep them happy and healthy

Medication administration if needed (oral meds, daily supplements, etc.)

Clean litter trays and a tidy environment

Plenty of playtime, cuddles, and company to make sure they feel loved while you’re away

Whether your cat loves a lap to curl up on, a toy to chase, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they get all the care and affection they need.
