Hello, I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse with over 20 years experience of working with, and caring for cats. In my Veterinary Nursing role my main passion has always been cats and how we can help them settle in an environment that is completely unfamiliar. Cats don’t ‘show’ their problems in ways that are easily recognisable so it’s important to understand individual cat needs. I love spending time with cats, each are unique and I tailor my cat care services to incorporate that. I have been cat sitting for nearly ten years and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

I visit once or twice a day, this can depend on the needs of the cat (and the owner). Some cats are very independent, have use of a cat flap and when their owners are away their day to day life doesn’t change too much, so they would benefit from one visit a day to check on them, clean litter trays and top up food and water (including food timers, which are always a good idea). Some cats need twice a day visits, if they particularly like company, do not have access to outside (indoor cat) or are elderly or needing regular medication (I can help with diabetic cats that need daily insulin injections, and administering tablets) then twice a day visits may be needed. I’m happy to discuss this and tailor my service to your cat’s needs.
