Need trusted kitty care in and around Todmorden? We're on hand to look after your feline friend!

We're Hannah and Gareth, chief kitty carers to the adorable purring machine Luna, who we adopted from the RSPCA at 11 weeks old in May 2025.

Hannah grew up with two beloved family cats, Pepper and Monty. Gareth's family always had dogs, but he's spent lots of time around cats over the years and is a fully-fledged feline fan since Luna arrived! So between us we have plenty of pet passion and experience.

We've also enjoyed a couple of Trusted House Sitters gigs previously, including a fortnight in France looking after 10 month old kittens, Fleur and Ronnie. So we're really excited to join Cat in a Flat and start meeting our local cat community.

We're pretty flexible in terms of availability.... Hannah works from home as an event manager, Gareth's a freelance outdoor instructor - the hills are his office!

We're both outdoor people, we love travelling, cooking and making the most of the fantastic live music venues on our doorstep.

What we can offer to keep your cat (and you!) content:

• one or two daily visits of at least 30 minutes each

• lashings of chin rubs, ear scritches, tummy tickles and play time; or some quiet gentle company if that's what your cat prefers

• the essentials of feeding / water / clean & change litter / grooming if required

• regular updates and photos so you know your cat is in fine feline fettle!

• morning visits generally between 8.00-9.30am / evening visits between 4.30-7.30pm, however these times can be flexible so please message to discuss

Additional info:

• happy to arrange a free meet-up in advance to get to know you and find out more about your cat/s

• will always aim to travel on foot/by bike if possible; can drive longer distances (just ask for contribution towards petrol 45p p/mile standard rate)

• also happy to do other small jobs eg. collect post, water plants etc.

• Gareth is DBS checked for work
