Cat sitter in Nottingham

Hi, I’m Ivy, a freshly graduated PhD in Linguistics who’s currently job hunting and, in the meantime, happily moonlighting as a cat sitter.

My own cat found me in the most unexpected way, he was a wild cat, but somehow he decided I was his human. He just walked in one day, stared at me like, “Yep, this will do,” and never left. Since then, he was my little healer. His purring was basically my nightly meditation playlist. It calmed me down instantly, and we fell asleep together like two old friends.

I can play with cats for hours, but I also know when to give them space. Every cat has their own quirks, and I love discovering what makes each one feel at home. If your cat likes cuddles, I’m ready. If they’re more of a “watch from a distance” type, I totally get that too.

Your furry friend will be cared for like my own with patience, respect, and lots of love.

I offer home visits and overnight stays, depending on what your cat needs. Feeding, litter cleaning, endless playtime, or simply keeping them company. I’m happy to help. I can also take care of small household tasks while you’re away, like bringing in the post and taking out the rubbish, so you can return to a clean and cosy home. I’m currently based in Beeston, and I’m happy to cover nearby neighbourhoods for regular visits or travel a bit further for longer stays.
