Paws & Relax

I’ve had my rescue cat, Smudge, since he was 18 months old and he’s now a very dignified 17-year-old. Caring for him through all stages of his life has been a real privilege - he’s been my shadow for years and we’ve had a ball. More recently, he’s developed heart and kidney conditions, which has taught me the importance of routine, gentle care, and of course plenty of cuddles for older or unwell cats.

I’m just starting to offer cat sitting more formally, but I bring years of hands-on experience caring for my own, as well as family and friends’ cats and pets. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, and how reassuring it is to know they’re being properly cared for while you’re away.

I love cats and believe every visit should include time, care and a bit of fun, not just a quick top-up of food and water. I’ll always follow your cat’s routine and personality, whether they’re playful, shy, or somewhere in between.

My aim is to give you peace of mind, knowing your cat is safe, relaxed, and getting plenty of attention and maybe a few games along the way
