Hi, I’m Kyra — a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for everything from cats and dogs to reptiles (and even primates!). My mum was a zookeeper for 15 years, so I grew up surrounded by animals and learning how to care for them properly — it’s second nature to me.

Over the years, I’ve looked after cats with all sorts of personalities — from the shy and cautious to the bold and curious. I’m calm, patient, and respectful of each animal’s individual routine and space. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, or just quiet companionship, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away.

I currently work full-time as a registered mental health nurse in Wandsworth, supporting people in the community four days a week. My nursing schedule gives me flexibility for cat sitting around my work days, and my caring, reliable nature carries through into how I look after animals too. You can trust that your pets are in capable, compassionate hands.

I’ve got lifetime experience with dogs, cats, and reptiles, plus a professional understanding of animal behaviour from years of hands-on handling (yes — I’ve worked with primates, deer, cats, dogs, and more!). You can expect reliable communication, regular updates, and lots of love for your furry (or scaly) family member.

I offer a flexible range of cat care options to suit every household and routine:

Live-in Sitting – Perfect for longer trips or cats who prefer company in their own home. I’ll stay overnight to maintain your pet’s normal routine, provide companionship, and keep your home secure.

Drop-in Visits – Once or twice daily visits for feeding, litter changes, playtime, cuddles, or quiet check-ins depending on your cat’s needs.

Planned Care Sessions – Scheduled sessions for feeding, grooming, or structured play tailored to your cat’s energy level and personality.

Medication Visits – For cats who need regular medication or specialist care, delivered calmly and safely by an experienced nurse.

Multi-Visit or One-Off Bookings – Flexible packages available for holidays, weekends, or last-minute plans.

I’m not currently licensed to board cats in my home, but this is something I’m actively exploring — I have the house and space to provide a safe, loving “home-from-home” environment in the near future.

All care is provided holistically, taking into account your cat’s routine, temperament, and wellbeing. My prices are kept competitive and transparent, and each booking includes regular photo or message updates for your peace of mind.
