Cat sitter Essex

Hi! I’m Ellie, I’m 32 and live in Essex. I currently work for Cancer Research UK but am sadly being made redundant in January. I’m a sociable, friendly and approachable (so I’ve been told!) person who loves seeing theatre shows, going to brunches and spending time with my two beautiful rescue cats!

Having had cats for most of my life, I understand how important family members they are. I’m one of those cat mums who has a family stay over whenever I’m away!

I’m flexible in terms of my services based on what your cat(s) requires. I’m happy to feed/change water, play with, give treats(in moderation!) change litter, groom/hygiene, monitor etc. I have a great understanding of nervous/anxious cats and find it so rewarding to earn their trust.

I have two indoor special rescue cats. One named Eevee who was diagnosed with double heart disease as a kitten and who is now over 2 years old and Gracie who was originally a stray, we adopted her from a foster family where she never liked being touched. After being patient, letting her come to me and making her feel safe, 3 months later and she’s now obsessed with me and loves sitting on my lap & rubbing her face against mine! I’m very aware and understanding that every cat is different therefore have different boundaries which I respect. I’m patient, understanding and will never stroke/pick up a cat if that’s something they are not comfortable with.

Also, I love taking photos of cats so please don’t hold back asking for them!
