Cat owner looking to support other cat owners with cat sitting!

My name is Athina, I am 26 years old and I have had 4 in door cats in my life so far 2 of which my partner and I recently fostered and we are currently in the process of finalising their adoption. Other pets I had include: a dog, turtles, fish, geese and recently I am taking care of my partner's gecko too!

Since I was a kid, I loved taking care of animals, and especially befriending strays! My childhood dream is to own a big house to be able to adopt and foster, and my future goal is to be a Prosecutor for RSPCA by specialising on Animal Welfare because I am a strong advocate for animal rights.

I want to contribute in this world by ensuring animals are loved and well taken care of.

I have experience with taking care of only in door cats since 2014.

I am happy to groom your cat's fur, give them treats, play with them, clean their litter trays and ensure they are fed well according to their needs.

In terms of feeding, I would like to make you aware that I am happy to measure their meals in case they are on a specific diet.

Please be aware that I will not let your cat(s) out and I will make sure they are kept in doors only at all times. If your cat(s) has a tendency of trying to sprint outside (when you open the main entrance door), please let me know the way you would like me to enter and exit your home safely to ensure I comply to your instructions and needs.

Additionally, I am absolutely happy to help you out by stocking up your home with their litter clay and food if you are ever away for holiday!

In terms of medicine administration, though I have administrated medicine to my cats before, I sometimes find it tricky to give them their medicine as 1 of my cats does not like get his medicine if it is applied on his paw, but he is happy to have it if it is mixed in his food. I am absolutely happy to assist you with giving them their medicine by following your instructions and recommendations!

In terms of injections, I do not have experience with this unfortunately :(

As I live in Hyde and about to start a full time job, I am able only commute by bus (or by foot) locally for morning visits. For evening visits, my partner can drive me to your location :)

In terms of night visits, it depends on your location and the time you would like me to visit because I might not have a bus to commute.

If you have other pets you would like me to look after, such as reptiles, fish, rodents, rabbits and birds, though I only have experience with taking care of a gecko, I am happy to take care of your pets by following your instructions.

I look forward to knowing what kind of toys your cats like, how they play and especially, what food they enjoy! (because I might get it for my cats to try it as well :))

I will send you updates that include detailed description, pictures and videos of the following: 1. Time of start and end visit. 2. The cat(s) condition, i.e. happy, sleepy, playful, if they have eaten and used their litter trays etc upon first visit and as I am leaving for the day. 3. If treats received and the amount. 4. If you have received post and where it has been placed (according to your instructions on where to place the post). 5. Cat meals (amount and time they were fed) including if they finished their meal or not - please let me know if you would like me to ensure they finish their meals. 6. Time that litter tray(s) got cleaned. 7. Clean and refill their water bowls. 8. Clean their play/sleeping/litter tray area as well as their feeding bowls. 9. Play time duration and the kind of play.

All of the above apply for your other pets too!

Lastly, in case of a cat health related emergency, please let me know who else I should contact apart for yourselves of course, and if you would like me to contact their vets.
